Lemon, bready malt, and straw aroma. Golden yellow with small white head. Mildly sweet lemon, biscuit malt, and mildly bitter grass flavor. Okay body.

Aldi beer! Does this bottle count as a craft beer? Who knows! What I do know is it’s a perfectly drinkable Vienna lager, no frills expected, none given. Notes of caramel, apple, and a mild floral bitterness. Basic, but decent.

Pineapple, orange, biscuit malt, and grapefruit peel aroma. Hazy pale yellow with moderate white head. Moderately sweet citrus, biscuit malt, and moderately bitter grapefruit peel flavor. Good body. Finally a decent IPA from the Advent calendar.

Caramel malt and hay aroma. Hazy amber with moderate light tan head. Lightly sweet caramel malt, and mildly bitter dry hay flavor. Very light body.
