Bomber from Half Time. Pours very light gold with a 3 finger creamy white head. Aroma is light pitted fruit and citrus. Med minus body. Flavor is floral and quite fruity. Light pitted fruits like nectarine. It is crisp and clean. It’s also finishing fruity bitter. Malt? Yeah, there’s arguably some lightly roasted malt backbone. But screw the backbone(tho it is necessary). This is ephemerally hoppy in a laid back East Coast style. Yum!

A deep dark stout with a thin compact lacing off white head. In aroma, a smooth coffee chocolate with herbal notes, and light creaminess. In mouth, a smooth bitter chocolate with grassy metallic hops, burned wood, nice and smooth. On tap at Reservoir, Waterbury, April 6 2012.

This was almost a perfect stout. Complex toasty roasty notes over the soft vanilla. Just really a wonderful beer that I was happy to share the experience with a friend.

Bottle courtesy of Greg at Churchkey, thank you sir! Cloudy golden yellow color, small white head, delicate lacing. Aroma of sourdough bread, lemon peel, light spice. Taste is softly sour rising bread, lemon peel. Fantastic.

Clear golden with a white head. Aroma is citrus and sweet with a hint of earthy spice. Flavor has crisp and clean citrus, light pepper, a hint or malt, and a touch of earth. Crisp finish. Very well done.

Bottle, thanks to Leighton. It pours very dark brown, with a thin tan head. The nose is caramel, vanilla, roasted malt and cocoa powder. The taste is roasted malt, charcoal, smoke, hay, dryness, coffee and some milk chocolate, with a dry finish. Light-medium body and low-moderate carbonation. It would be nice to have a touch more sweetness to balance it out. Decent and easy drinking stuff though.

One pint bottle, lot 032411, bought at Ølbutikken, Copenhagen in May last year. Pours a deep, brown body with a ruby shade. Frothy and bubbly, beige head that stayed well and left spotty lace behind. Nice aroma of mild red orange added by earthy, semi-sweet malts. Deliciously blended taste of juicy fruits, grapefruit, dark fruits and caramel malts. Velvety and smooth bittersweet ending. Very nice, indeed (Tromsø, 23.03.2012).
