Bottle @ Beer Temple. Blond color with creamy off white head. Aroma’s of resiny hops, a hint of roast, some fruit & malt. Flavor is grainy/malty and light bitter. Finishes pleasantly bitter. Nice and flavorful thirst quencher.

Courtesy of Gillard. Pours murky amber with thin copper edges and off white head. The aroma has a nice mix of spicy hops, citrus hops, floral hops and some earthiness along with a bit of malt and cherry hard candy infused crystal malts . . . yes, all of that. The taste has a quick rush of hops from floral to spicy and citrus and then it rolls into roastiness and thin veins of earthy hops. Tasty with lots going on.

Cloudy orange gold body - sediment kicked up - with a lasting head. Pleasantly hoppy aroma. Citrus with a hint of pine. Nice bready caramel malt holding things up. Taste is yeasty and dry with nearly perfect bitterness. Extremely easy to drink. I love well-made pale ales that are dry and hoppy. A very good beer. Judged against the style, this would be in the 4.3+ range.

Big beige big-bubbled lasting head. Deep dark red body with strong carbonation. Strong resiny tropical mango aroma with pineapple and wood notes. Dry-sweet wooden mango and resin taste with lacquer and spice notes. Fullish body. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dry roasty minty mango aftertaste with dusty wooden notes. Nice. Highly drinkable, and full of flavour. Could perhaps be a bit drier. (0.5l bottle, Ølbutikken, Copenhagen.)

Big shiny offwhite head. Golden body with strong carbonation. Mild and soft mango and resin aroma with strawy floral notes. Dry-sweet floral tropical fruit and wild berry taste with mango and resin notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dry resiny gooseberry aftertaste with wooden fruity notes. Lovely! Excellent balance, and amazing depth in the hop flavour. (0.5l bottle, Ølbutikken, Copenhagen.)

Pours deep amber into a Sam glass. Off-white conglomerate head with excellent retention recedes leaving spider lacing to coat surface. Deep skanky resin and grapefruit aromas. Full and well-balanced with upfront caramel turning to resin before the lasting citrus finish.

couldn’t quite bring myself to rate this one a perfect across the board, not because the beer doesnt deserve it, but because all i had was a sample at the ACBF in Boston, 2 oz are not enough to really appreciate this one. Really wish MBC would be able to make more than a few batches at a time, cause those guys know what they are doing. If I won the lottery, I would make sure they had the funds to brew a little more beer.

for a brewery that makes 2 beers, this is an unextected surprise, even though it shouldnt be because the spring ale was so good, but this rivals nugget nectar for the best amber ive ever had. perfect color and palate, and very close for the other categories, absolutely delicious, would have it everyday if it was easier to get, hint hint MBC, BREW SOME MORE!!!
