@Mitra Lwd, helder rood/koper met schuimige kaki kraag. Aroma van caramel, den, hoppig en fruitig. smaken zijn matig zoet, redelijk bitter, matig moutig, caramel, den, iets gebrande caramel, toffee, medium body, dun van textuur, lage co2, mwah.. erg beperkt allemaal --- Beer merged from original tick of Festeroo on 17 May 2018 at 16:14 - Score: 6

Dark red brown colour with thin, wispy head. Aroma has quite a lot of piney hop as does the flavour. There’s an earthy taste to it too, slightly spicy with a warming finish.

Bottle shared with Erwin Van Moll and Stefan @ Van Moll Brewpub. Red brown color, red glare coming through, medium sized off-white to beige head that leaves fair to good lacing. Aroma has strong vanilla, slightly roast and some malts. Taste lightly malts, vanilla, fortunately not that much that it becomes (Dutch) "hopjesvla" flavored. Body is average to medium, carbonation suits the beer. Quite well balanced.

Bottle @ home. Clear orange color, medium sized off-white head that lasts for a decent while and leaves fair lacing. Aroma is lightly malts, very hoppy, fruit hops, lightly resin. Taste malts, hops, resinous, nicely bitter. Medium body and carbonation. Nice IPA with quite a full hoppy flavor. Thank god I had this fresh.

Keg at the brewpub, 10/11/14. Pale yellow with a moderate off white covering. Nose is thin, straw, lemon, wheat tones. Taste comprises grain, cereals, lemon rind. Medium body, fine carboanation, semi drying close with light vegetal strains. Sub par, the blandometer is rising high on this one!

Keg at the taproom, 10/11/14. Clear pale golden with a moderate off white covering. Nose is pale malt, straw, cereal, light citrus tones. Taste comprises grain, hint of caramel, vanilla, grassy. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with light hop bitterings. Ok lager, nice palate cleanser amidst more complex offerings.

Cask at the taproom, 10/11/14. Mahogany brown with a moderate tan covering. Nose is light roast, toffee, chocolate. Taste comprises hint of roasting, toffee, cocoa rub, faint aniseed, dark fruit licks. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close with light roast strains. Ok porter, cask conditioning was good.
