Bottle on the train during the Isle of Wight Jolly. Cheers Soapy. Pours hazy gold, effervescent, with a creamy white head. Good nose with light piss, grapefruit and pine needles. Medium sweet flavor with pleasant grapefruit pith, dirty pine, light booze. Medium bodied with average to lively carbonation. Lightly warming and resinous on the finish with nice citrusy hop character. Good one.

500ml bottle at home. Pours hazy gold, thick white head, high carbonation. Yeasty aromas, light melon and tropical fruit. Taste is more of the same, quite yeasty. No noticeable lager qualities, but a nice enough beer.

500ml bottle at home with the Mrs. Pours clear amber, thick white head. Aromas of light grape, fresh pineapple, caramel. Taste is light bitter. Gentle carbonation. Good session beer.

Wakefield Beer Festival. Golden with a thin head. Fruit hopped with mango very prominent in both its aroma and taste.

500ml bottle. Pours black with a white head that lasts to the bottom of the glass. Dry smoky aroma, followed by a bitter smoky taste. Lives up to expectations

500ml bottle conditioned: 4.6% ABV. Poured at home into an Abbot Ale glass tankard. Poured a murky brown with a deep beige blanket of foam on top. Bitter hop feel to the nose and taste, chilled: became more malty as it warmed a little. Reminded me of some of the Californian Hoppy brews I have tatsed, so this is obviously a good try at that style. Impressed.

500ml bottle from a Scottish Aldi during their beer festival: shared with a mate in Edinburgh on 24th Oct 2014, our last beer of a good crawl followed by some bottles at his gaff. Poured a deep, hazy brown, on top a thin tanned head. Mild smoky nose, with a dark chocolate and red fruit hint. Taste is the same, but in a different order of strength: chocolate then Peat smoke followed by the fruitiness. Medium bodied and nicely carbonated, a pleasant night cap.

Bottle split at CBC Clerko, thanks to Paulo, 30/09/14. Hazed orange amber with a moderate off white covering. Nose is candied orange, tangerine, pine, mandarin, pithy citrics, apricot jam. Taste comprises mandarin, pine, straw, apricot jam, orange pith, light spice. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a juicy hop rinse. Super solid SIPA.
