Tap at Birrifugio Trastevere, 22/06/13. Clear golden amber with a good sized off white head. Nose is malt, caramel, light smoke. Taste comprises bready malt, subtle smoke, light toffee, frazzles light. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Decent smoked beer, fairly subtle but easy drinking.

Draught @ GEIB, Grande Esposizione Italiane della Birra 2012, Nuova Fiera di Roma, via Portuense 1645, Rome, Italy 00100.Light unclear medium amber orange colour with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, malt dusty, moderate hoppy, orange - citrus, fruity. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, malt dusty, fruity, dark citrus, hoppy. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20121215]

Attractive shaped bottle drunk at home, with peace pipe smokin’ label, from BQ, Milan. Murky burnt orange pour with a fading beige head. Aroma had a good fruity character, predominantly citrus, but maybe some orchard fruit and spice lurking also. Sweet malt spine and earthy hop bitterness in the flavour predominated, with the bitterness lingering well into the finish. Pretty good stuff.

Hazy mahogany color. Medium bodied, good mix of caramel and chocolate flavor, medium dryness, light residual sweetness, very light roasted malt. Easy but quite good.

Cloudy blond color. Delicate, simple Ale, but not bad, with light grassy aroma, light fruity sweetness, medium-low bitterness.
