Bottle at Alanbar, Marrakech, 15-11-07 Poured pale golden though it was a bit tricky to be absolutely sure when your drinking in a place so dark it resembles the ’Bat Cave’. Tasted malty and quite sweet, some corn, quite crisp and just about ok one of only two beers I had on this short break.

33 cL bottle. Pours clear yellow with a thick white head. Slight bitter and minor sweet malty aroma. Starts soft malty with a hint of caramel and reveals a slight metallic edge and a minor fruity note before the finish. Has a bit of salt and some liqourice like flavour to it. Finish holds a nice blend between mildly roasted caramel malt and bitterness. Good.

bottle picked up from Dodgi’ Deli, Cowley Road Straw coloured beer with small white head, some grain on the nose, light malty, quite fizzy, lack of hops and quite sweet.

330ml bottle.Straw with a rapidly fading white head; a pungent aroma, almost meaty, with notes of damp straw and rotting vegetables; the flavour is rather hollow with some wheat, but a big hole, just waiting for something to fill it - anything would do; unpleasantly acidic aftertaste. An experience not to repeat.

Clear yellow colour, small white head. Not much of an aroma. No bitterness in the flavors, very light body. No aftertaste. After one minute you forgot you actually have been drinking this beer.

Strong barley aroma, pungent, and a little like gasoline. Absolutely no head despite cheating on the pour. Yellow color. Taste is mediocre, grainy, and like Miller Lite, but drier. Clean and refreshing grassy hop finish, well timed. I drank half and shandied the rest. That didn’t work out quite as well as I hoped.

Bottled(240ml). -Pours a pale golden colour with persisting white head and stinky corn nose. The aroma is sweet malty, faint hoppy and grainy with bitter flowery notes. Bitterish metallic finish.

Test vom 10.2.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 9,7,9,7,8,7 - 7,55

(33 cl bottle, gift from a friend from Spain) Clear golden color, white head. Malty and grassy scent. Crisp malty taste. A bit thin mouthfeel. Rather nice lager.

Bottled. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is malts, hops and slight maize. Flavour is the same. Surprisingly clean lager from Africa. Still boring...
