Bottle 05-12-03. Drank this a few times in Morrocco and brought a bottle back, though why I am not sure as it was fine but not great. Pale golden colour, bit watery and thin, some bitterness.

(Bottle 33 cl) Comes as "Casablanca Beer". Pilsener golden with tiny, floating impurities. Decent, creamy head with fair retention. Hoppy, phenolic nose. Flavour has some unusual earthy, fusty notes that I would usually associate with Belgian or French microbrews - certainly not in a lager! Sweet, grainy notes and a solid bitter finish. I’m not sure this is how it’s supposed to taste (no expiry date), but I kinda enjoyed it. 070106

Canned(330ml). -my first maroccan beer, not so bad as other muslim NA, but also not so good as european NA, pale yellow coloured, huge airy white head, almost no fizz, sweetened water with slight malt in aroma, surprisingly easy drinkable NA beer

Bottle. Had a bottle of this in a restaurant in Tangier. Mild malt aroma. Mid yellow color with okay head. Sweet grainy malt flavor - slight hops flavor. Not a great beer but pretty good given the location. Also drinking beer in Morocco during Ramadan is something everyone should experience.

Bpttle - Malt/hay aroma - looks pretty good. Strangely sweet malt flavor - very mild. Two good things about this - one is now I can say I had a beer from Morocco and two, they didn’t have a full six pack where I bought this so they gave me a travel bottle of Famous Grouse so not a complete loss.

This pours a characteristic clear golden yellow with a frothy white head that sticks to the glass. Faint aroma of hops. Sweet with a nicely balanced hop bitterness. There is a bit of a sourness in the finish which hurts this beer’s score the most. If it weren’t for that off flavored finish, this would be a decent beer for it’s style. The sourness comes in less as you drink more. This should probably be served quite cold too.

Pale yellow beer with a thick white head collapsing head. Skunk comes out as soonas bottle is opened, with lots of adjucts. Taste is light malts, with light hopping, and not much character...similar to south americans like Quilmes. Body is nil.

Crystal-clear light golden colour with a large dense white head. Aroma of metal, malt, a bit of hops and a subtle sweetness (pears/white grapes). Light-bodied; Artificially sweet, not a great taste otherwise. Metal and stale malt dominate the taste. Aftertaste bitter and unrefined. Overall, the aroma is better than the taste-this is worth passing up, unless you want to try a beer from Morocco! I bought this twelve ounce bottle at the Opera House Gourmet in Manassas, Virginia and sampled it on 20-November-2003.
