Taster pour only at the Barrio location. Rich, mostly clear, deep maroon, dark cherry red, still pour. Smell is dark cherry, lighter cherry pie & yeasties. Taste is deep dark fruit, but satisfyingly tart. No serious sour twinge, but sharp, slightly sweet with big acidity. Light, lingering grassy note at the end. Low but biting carbonation. Pretty good for a style they don't do.

Sampled from the tap at Aces and Ales Tenaya. Pours a clear light yellow gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges and laces. Aroma has a light melon and pine note with some grass and grain backing. Flavor has more of an earthy pine and wet grass note with a bit of bread backing.

Can sourced from Beer Republic and drunk at home (11/10/2021) - pours black with a tan head. Roasted and sweet dark malty, notes of chocolate and caramel, light salty, medium plus body, sweet dark malty close. Nice.

Draft pour pint enjoyed at 595, Las Vegas. A mostly clean, darker golden orange appearance, with a thick foam head. A big and bold IPA. Some earthy grains, and soft grassy hops on the nose. Flavor agrees this is in fact an imperial. Its refreshing though, and not too aggressive with bitterness. A somewhat grassy hop finish, with a soft sweet side on the back end. Pretty good double IPA collab here from two new breweries to me.

Can, 0.355l. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee and salt. Pours almost black color with large soapy light brown head and average sparkling appearance. Taste starts with medium sweet and rich roasted malt, following is slightly acetic, umami and salty with sweet chocolate note, mouthfeel is smooth and mild spicy, while finish is medium bitter. Full body, creamy texture and average carbonation in palate. Deadlocked oysters…

19.2 oz. can. Pours a murky, pinkish color, with a bubbly, fleeting head. The aroma is heavy tomato, tabasco, lime, straw, habanero, and brown sugar. Quite savory and spicy. Some salt and light acidity. Light body, with a sticky, hot mouthfeel. I literally recoiled from the glass at first smell, but it goes down okay. The second half was significantly better.

32oz crowler pours with a deep dark mohagony colored body that supports a thin dark tan head of foam. The aroma offers up kind of boozy chocolate and fudge flowing into a mild sense of coffee in the background. The taste delivers a pleasing richness and depth of chocolate that ebbs back and forth from fudge to chocolate to dark chocolate milk steeped in booze. Beneath the chocolate depths is a thin layer of sweetened dark roasted coffee. The comes together nice where the booze is there but at just the right level to give this some umph that's counter to the sweetened chocolate and roast.
