Cask at the cock. A dark chestnut brown coloured pour with a a loose speckled tan head. Aroma is nutty, earthy chestnut, dried fruits, trail mix. Flavour is composed of semi sweet oily, vanilla, cola, toasted nuts, apple, light tart apple. Palate is semi sweet. Watery, mellow cask condition. Decent.

Cask at the Cock Tavern - Hackney Central. Pours clear red-brown with a frothy, tan head. Light to medium sweet flavour with notes of well toasted malts, mellow semi-dark berries, soft roast, nips of earth and cocoa. Light bodied with fine carbonation; decent condition. Balanced finish, rounded dark malts. Nice one.

From tap at Exaale Brewing taproom with Terje 25.11.22. Clear orange golden. White head and lacing. Fine aroma and taste of tawny marmalade, pale malt, pine and mandarins. Solid bitterness.

(Draught at Mother Kelly's Vauxhall, London, 29 May 2022) Cloudy yellow colour with foamy, white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with lemon peel, tropical fruit, pineapple, grass and passion-fruit. Fruity, hoppy taste with notes of citrus, tropical fruit, pineapple, pine needles, passion-fruit, white bread and a balanced citric/tropical bitterness. Medium body, quite dry. Tasty and refreshing, with a fresh hop character. Nice one.

1/3 pint, sample tray, on tap at BrewDog Clerkenwell. Filmy layer, deep late straw coloured body, fair lacing. Moderate dark fruity nose, slightly spiced. Mixed taste of orange, grain, and some Belgian yeast strain. Ripe and dark fruity ending. Fine bodied. Just alright. (Farringdon, London 04.11.2022).

1/3 pint, on tap at CBC, Clerkenwell. Patchy, off-white head, amber body with a slight haze, clingy lacing. Grassy hops and biscuit on the nose, quite inviting. Flavoured with ripe citrus, dried fruit, and offset by mild malty sweetness. Fine bitter ending, mid-dry. Well bodied. Good drinking. (Clerkenwell, London 04.11.2022).

Keg at BD 7D, 20/10/22. Clear golden with an off white cap veering to a swirl. Nose is mellow citric peel, herb, grains, orange peel. Taste comprises caramel, dried fruits, dusty hops, candied orange peel, lemon zest, straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Not bad.
