I don''t think this beer is a pilsener, I thick it''s a helles. A very good helles, though. Malty and a bit dusty aroma. Full bodied. Sweetish, malty hoppy flavor with peach and a hoppy finish.

Malt and caramel both in aroma and flavor. Medium bodied, good lacing. Just a hint of coffee. Slightly bitter aftertaste with a hint of glue. Fairly clean palate. Good enough.

Golden color. Apricot and hops in the aroma. Apricot also in the flavor. Cologne and some alcohol. Hops take care of the bitter aftertaste. Somewhat too perfumed to be a really good maibock. Still not too bad.

Vague apple aroma. Hoppy flavor, especially in the aftertaste. Just a bit herbal, but putting hopfig herb (hoppy and herbal) on the neck label is a bit exaggerated for this pleasant, but undistinctive beer.

On the label: Altenmünster Steinbeer. Dark amber color, smoky aroma. Full bodied. Smoky flavor. Beechwood. Malty. Shorting smoky aftertaste. Nice beer.

Chalk and citrus aroma Thin. Citrus dom inates the flavor. Just a bit milky. Good and thirst quenching, but lacks body and complexity. Re-rate: Blonde and cloudy. Clove, grass and just a hint of banan in the aroma. Banana flavor, somewhat herbal with clove. Medium bodied with a hint of citrus.

Bügel-Flascherl(Dank am See!): Hazy to cloudy, amber coloured, medium-sized stable white head; traces of vegetables and burnt malt in the bitter-sweet grainy nose; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, quite light bodied, tart; harsh hoppy traces in the grainy and fruity finish.
