Poured into a nonic pint glass, the appearance was a dark brown close to black color with a tan finger’s worth of foamy head. Some stringy lace.
The aroma had some roasted nutty malts with some coffee beans, dark chocolate and then a slight tickle of milk chocolate underneath.
The flavor blends all of the previously mentioned aromas together fairly nice guiding into the aftertaste and on into the finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionably smoothness rolling over the roasty tones that want to grind in my tongue. Good carbonation. ABV felt appropriate.
Overall, nicely done stout that I would love to have again.
