Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, dusty nutty, wood, light to moderate yeasty, sour berry. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20090822]

Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Clear amber golden with an off-white head. Sweet aroma of fruit and caramel. Quite full-bodied, caramel, fruit and a little licorice. No actual bitterness. 210809

Pale red-orange colour. No head. Sweet jam-like aroma and a hint of malt too. Flavour is a mix of bitter and sweet with the bitter aftertaste lingering on the tongue. Overall sweetness is well balanced. The cranberry is not too dominant.

Bottle at Arendsnest, Amsterdam Clear, amber/brown body. LIghtly brown, creamy head. Aroma of fruit, cherries, wood, wine, port, deep malts, some smoke. Lightly sweet, moderately bitter flavour of malts and grapes. Bit watery mouthfeel. Quite nice.

Amber with a lasting white head. Fruit, malt and grain aroma. Sweet malty flavour with toffee and dried fruits

Cloudy amber with a large beige head. Spicy aroma along with roasted malt and hops. Flavour had medicine notes as well and spices, malt and caramel notes. Finished somewhat bitter from the grassy hops.

Bottle, 7.5%. Papery and fruity aroma, has a strange note. Hazy light brown colour. The flavour is quite malty and sweet. Cookie spices in the flavour.
