Description
Sinds 1985 worden er maar liefst acht heerlijke Us Heit-speciaalbieren met passie gebrouwen door brouwmeester Aart van der Linde. In de productie en aanlevering van grondstoffen wordt uitsluitend gebruik gemaakt van leveranciers uit de omgeving. Het hele productieproces van onze producten is zodanig ingericht, dat we het hele proces van akkerbouwer tot consument zelf in de hand hebben. Wij kiezen heel bewust voor deze verantwoorde wijze van produceren. Niet omdat het goedkoper is, want de productie wordt niet simpeler of goedkoper, maar juist in het extra karakter wat wij aan onze producten mee kunnen geven door deze manier van brouwen en stoken.

Dark brown with a medium beige head. Aroma had roasted malt, caramel and hints of chocolate. Flavour was sweet with roasted malt, caramel and chocolate. Finished sweet.

75 cL bottle. Pours almost clear and golden deep amber wit a small tan head. Dry yeasty and roasted malt aroma. Sweet malt, caramelish, slight metallic and yeasty flavoured. Lasting roasted and caramelish finish. Lasting metallic touch too.

Bottlemarked 5-1-2008 thanks to bu11zeye. Pours with a small, white head over a hazed golden body. Aroma is slightly butter, with sugar, dryness, light alcohol and orange peel. Taste is alcohol, must, coriander, dryness, and apricot. Lively bubbles, dry mouthfeel.

30 cL bottle. Pours dark amber golden red with a small tan head. Dry roasted malt flavoured. Light biterness shwoing through. Sweet, roasted and malt flavoured. Bitter and dry roasted malt finish.

Bottled (from Cracked Kettle, Amsterdam). Amber colour, small beigeish brown colour. Aroma is caramel, spices and mild notes of medicine. Flavour is quite much the same along with some raisins and also something like wet smoked wood or something like that.

Bottle 30cl. @ home.Clear medium to dark amber color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, moderate to light heavy medicine, light notes of raisin and prines, notes of peat - smoke. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20081117]

Bottle at WBF ’09 Gouda. Clear amber colour, off-white head. Aroma of stone fruits, spices and malts. Flavour is light sweet, fruity, christmas spices. Medium bodied, syrupy mouthfeel. Very nice and also very different from previous ratings.

Bottle at WBF ’09 Gouda. ABV 8%. Dark brown colour, off-white head. Aroma of chocolate malts, roasted malts, caramel. Flavour is roasted malts, earth, yeast, caramel and some metal. Dry metallic finish.

Bottle: Poured a reddish-brown with a beige head. Aroma is roasted malt and caramel. Taste is metallic with a roasted malt.
