12oz can pours a translucent, burnt orange with some clumpy white head. Nose has malt, cracker, soap, some pine. Flavors all follow. Grapefruit pushes more than pine or soap. Caramel here. Dry, medium full bodied finish with some medium bitterness.

50cl bottle, inky black with some beige head. Leggy. Nose has vanilla and malt and licorice and bruleed banana. Flavor scales back and its malt, black pepper now, licorice, vanilla. Medium full, long, sticky. 8 7 7.5 7 7

Goblet at the Roost pours a clear, burnt amber with some sticky, white head. Old school nose, malt, pine, dried citrus, biscuit. Flavors all same. Chewy malt, some sweet tea, but pine and grapefruit and some soap. Finishes dry, bitter, long. Well made.

Draft at Andy's NoMA. Served in a Tulip Chouffe glass. Ugh. But it looks right. Looks like pulp. Nose is fairly soft, melon and lime, some grass, oats. Flavors mostly follow. Fresh cream makes me think mosaic. What's that funky green citrus, pomelo? Nice enough and feels almost high end. Pillowy, spritzy too. 8 7.5 7 7 7

Pour at Snallygaster 2025. Poured a totally opaque, creamy orange, with a peachy hue. Aroma was like candy, lots of sweetness, strawberries, cherry, pear. Flavor was sweet candy gummies.
