12oz can pours a dark cola brown with a ring of off white head. Nose has lots of good stuff, cola, coffee, malt, licorice. There's a sumac thing happening or heavy anise that distracts at the end. Flavor is exactly the same, so much good stuff up front, malt and carob and caramel and Vietnamese coffee.... and then weird anise. If there's anise in this then pull it. It would be a great beer. If this is the roast of coffee the swap it out and you have a winner. Dry finish, medium bodied. 7 4 7 4 13

12oz can pours a lightly hazy gold with a thin cap of white head. Nose is old school, C hops, citrus, pine, soap, honey. Flavor has malt and honey, orange, pine, soap. Definitely old school. Finishes dry, bitter.

16oz can pours a murky orange with some cloudy white head. Nose has pith, citrus, herbs, potpourri, some passion fruit. Flavor is malt, melon, some oat, passionfruit, orange curd. Full bodied and bitter. 7 3 7 3 13
