Single can from am Asheville downtown general store not big enough for Ratebeer. Baby Duvel glass @home. Quick & tall soda head. Hazy, plum-colored, still - despite the Duvel glass. Big whiff of stinky sulfur. Once it starts to dissipate there's dry apple twang & rosé wine on the nose. The fart lingers well past the glass getting warm. Prickly yet creamy. Earthy apples with sharp hibiscus & bitter orange peel. Light lemon & strawberry wine notes. Fizzy, bittersweet leaning bitter, borderline sour, Italian soda finish. Aside from the terrible gassing which I'm going neg the score a ton on, this stuff is great. Rare props to a winery for taking cider seriously.

Can from Holiday Market. Pours a crystal clear pale straw color with a quickly dissipating finger of white foam. Fizzy apple aroma with lots of mineral water notes and baby vomit. No nuance on the palate....just perrier with yeast and a touch of apple. No character, nuance or depth. Dime-a-dozen US cider...missing the depth of French, English and Spanish cidres/ciders.
