Isle Of Wight Holiday Beer#69. Another Lifecraft supplied beer for Basecamp. Excellent tropical fruit nose, with its carbonation impacting a little on its similar taste. Solid traditional tasting example of the style.

Isle Of Wight Holiday Beer#46. Last of the evening supplied by Lifecraft with their personal delivery to me. Developing tropical fruitiness on the sweeter side of the spectrum, but never achieves a fullness. Close though. Aroma is stated. Perhaps its carbonated texture is responsible for its shortcomings.

440ml can from Left Field Beer and shared in Kuala Lumpur. Poured a clear yellow golden colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head and some broken lace. The aroma is yeasty, herbal. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a surprisingly smooth, herbal, light piney, melon, stone fruits, light woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.

440ml can from Left Field Beer, Solihull and shared in Kuala Lumpur. Poured a hazy yellow golden colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is grainy, sherbet, but who really knows for sure as a friend is vaping close by! The flavour is moderate sweet and bitter, with a crisp, fresh, light floral, light citrus, light piney, mango pineapple, light hop bitter palate and a bubbly mouthfeel. Medium bodied with average carbonation. A little light perhaps for the ABV, but super tasty.

Draft at the Shaking Hand, Shirley, Solihull. Poured a hazy yellow golden colour with a lasting frothy white head and some broken lace. The aroma is grainy, grassy, weedy. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a fresh, crisp, mineral, light tart lemon, grapefruit, somewhat watery, spicy hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation. I guess low alcohol, low duty beers like this are the future of brewing in the UK!

Okay IPA ... if it hadn't advertised Nelson I'd likely have gone 7.3 but it lacks on this front compared with many of the great Nelson fuelled offerings we've seen in the UK this year!
