440ml can from Left Field Beer, Solihull. Poured a hazy golden orange colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is grainy, orange citrus. The flavour is moderate sweet and bitter, with a fresh smooth, tart juicy orange citrus, light mineral, light hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with average to soft carbonation.

Nose is juicy citric flesh, guava, grass, ripe melon.
Taste comprises tangerine, light floral whisper, grapefruit, pine nibble, grass, mandarin.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spliced with juicy come lightly resinous hop bitterness.
Solid flavoursome pale for just 4%.

Can. A mild to medium haze on this gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head that doesn't last long. Light palate, a very mild dryness, good fine minerally carbonation. Light bodied pale malts, this is Phantom, so good sweetness imparted. Hops bring light smooth cooling pine, nice floral lime, slightly candyish, whisper of melon led tropical fruits and even some genuine, if mild, Strata passion fruit! Hurrah! Mild skunk runs throughout and there is a modest hop spice on the finish. Nice hop profile and very drinkable.

Thin bodied pale malts but, this is Phantom, so a decent creamy sweetness nonetheless. Light crisp cooling pine into light bright stone fruits and citrus. Light finish. Good stuff. I'd be happy to session this in a pub, with work mates, plenty satisfied with the flavour and refreshment and, with a reasonable degree of confidence that I might actually wake up at the right station on the way home.
