Sample, thanks Stefan. From pink to brown colouration. Rose and intense pomegranate including bitter piths and herbal notes. Medium to full sweet body, light smoky bitterness. Very interesting but not something I would drink a lot off.

Bottle sample, many thanks Nische! Clear reddish color with no head. Aroma is quite intense, cucumber skin indeed, pomegranate pith too. Not really like I had expected. Taste is more pomegranate, a bit honey, some tannins, quite nicely balanced. Oily mouthfeel, not too viscous. Nice one, although the smell is a bit weird

Bottle from SB. Clear, bright red. Aroma is quite green with distinct cucumber skin and some red fruit candy. Taste is balanced sweet, typical Swedish Ferraribilar-candy, some jelly raspberries and pithy pomegranate. Delicious to drink, highly complex, yet quite peculiar.

Aus der Flasche (bbe 01.06.2022) im 2021-03 getrunken. Bei diesen Met ist der Name klar Programm. Das säuerliche Kirschenaroma paßt gut zu dem süßen Einfluss des Honigs. Dazu kommt noch ein paar richtig schöne Weihnachtsgewürze. Es ist gefährlich einfach zu trinken.

Bottle that's been in the house for almost a year, so probably an early lockdown purchase. Consumed at home Saturday 13th February 2021 listed to the last 20-30 minutes of Craig Charles Funk and Soul Show and then Tom Robinson, both on 6Music. We had two types of homemade Tortellini (World Tortellini Day today) We did a 12km loop/circular walk around Freising today in the snow and extreme cold -10c. This pours a very dark brown with a slight ruby hue, no head. Sweet but very fruity, the cherries adding a nice dimension here, A real sipper because at 12%, this is so easy drinking. Lovely mead.
