Can, from a liquor shop. Pours celar reddish brown with a small frothy beige head, very faint caramel aroma, high carbonation, mildly sweetcaramel taste with nutty flavor, faintly yeasty, thin body, long semisweet finish. A bit thin but easy to drink.

I searched some online trying to figure out if this drink is actually a cyser. The can says so. The brewery calls it that. They say it’s made with honey and apples. But the brewery also refers to it in different places as “apple ale”, “beer”, and an “apple cider/beer” combo. A cyser is none of those things. This is kind of annoying, Sun King.

At any rate, it certainly smells of apples and honey. The flavor is sweet and honey forward with the apples lending a little tartness. It’s easy drinking and overall okay, but not something I’d look for again.

Pale yellow with moderate white head. Cucumber/melon, biscuit malt, and straw aroma. Mildly sweet cucumber/cantalope, biscuit malt, and mildly bitter straw flavor. Okay body. Cucumber dominates.

Golden yellow with small head. Kiwi fruit, strawberry, biscuit malt, and orange peel aroma. Lightly sweet strawberry, kiwi fruit, biscuit malt, moderately sour citric acid, and mildly bitter straw flavor. Okay body.

Golden yellow with moderate off-white head and mild effervescence. Lemon, corn, barley malt, and hay aroma. Mildly sweet lemon, corn, barley malt, and mildly bitter grass/fresh hay flavor. Good body. Solid.

Canned - pours a hazed brown orange. Grapefruit, some fruit almost berries. Pretty good
