Can thanks to LtDan. Pours with a slightly hazed golden body and a fading white head. Aroma of grass, grain, vanilla, cereal, and light caramel. Some corn too, but not nearly as much as in other cream ales. Taste is light, crisp, grassy and lightly peppery. Not really a whole lot going on, but it isn’t bad at all. Nothing offensive that I can find. Maybe a bit of pear or light ester. Dry and crisp. Medium bubbles. Pretty decent. Drinkable for sure.

Sample from can at the Beer ’N Rock Band tasting on 08/27/2010: The beer is a clear golden color with a medium fluffy off-white head that recedes slowly. Thin sheet of lacing at the top of the glass with spots underneath. Hoppy aroma with primarily citrus notes, along with a touch of malt. Medium body with hops and zesty citrus flavors along with malty notes. The finish is hoppy with a citrus aftertaste. Straightforward, decent Pale Ale overall.

I entered this for my rating to the original Cream Dream from Sun King. Poured a clear pale gold with a thin white head that lasts. Aroma was full of pine hops, not much else comes out except for a slight sweet grain note. Flavor began a bit creamy with a sweet grain note, but pine hops take over through the finish. The beer in nice and creamy on the tongue which was quite nice.

On draught at Heorot in Muncie, IN. This brew is a clear orange-amber color with a medium foamy light beige head that diminishes steadily. Stringy lacing on the glass. Hoppy aroma with some toasted malt notes. Medium body with flavors of resiny hops and sweet bready malt. Some earthy and spicy notes as well, which may be the rye. The finish is hoppy with a lingering earthy aftertaste. Decent beer overall.

Draft @ FoBAB 2009, Chicago, IL. Pours a golden color with a small off-white head. Has a sweetish malty caramel aroma with some weak hints of vanilla. Sweetish malty toffee and caramel flavor. Has a sweetish malty caramel finish with hints of vanilla.

Growler. Poured a dark amber with a gray brown head. Aroma was full of coffee notes with a roasted malt undertone. Flavor had a nice coffee note with a very nice sweet undertone of grain and wheat that balanced quite nicely..

Growler at the 2010 March Metro Detroit tasting. Poured a cleasr light brown with an off-white head. Aroma had a nice grain aroma, but it was a bit one note. Full of nice malt flavor, but again it was quite note.

Sampled from the tap at the 2010 Indiana Winterfest. Poured a clear amber with an off-white head. Aroma had notes of candied sugar, floral and apple notes. Flavor had some darker notes, but still some sugar with darker fruits and a touch of alcohol.
