Zmajska pivovara rodila se iz strasti prema vrhunskom pivu i iz dugogodišnjega iskustva u kućnom pivarstvu. Željeli smo napraviti razliku s inovativnim i drugačijim pivima kakva donedavno nisu bila dostupna u lokalnoj ponudi. Svako naše pivo, bez obzira na stil kojemu pripada, iskreno je, prepoznatljivo i beskompromisno u kvaliteti.

Kao prva nezavisna pivovara u Hrvatskoj i jedni od začetnika naše craft scene, smatramo da naša odgovornost ne staje na proizvodnji i isporuci piva.
Želimo svim pivoljupcima objasniti magiju nastajanja piva, važnost kvalitete sastojaka i približiti bezbrojne kombinacije okusa i aroma. Nadamo se da naša Zmajska posla i uspijevaju u tome, a svaki HomeBrew Lab koji organiziramo ponudi nam paletu jako dobrih uradaka. Craft je za nas prijateljstvo i način života. I još puno toga... za što teško nalazimo riječi. Ali pokušavamo to preciznije izraziti našim festivalom craft piva i muzike Zmajevo.

Can from Ambasada, thx H for sharing with me! Pineapple and resin in the aroma, light oats, dry. Smooth but quite dry, bit astringent taste, resin, coconut, lime, light white grapes, somewhat juicy but not quite. Solid!

0.5 l can from Ambasada, Zagreb. Shared with Marko. Hazy orange, small lasting off-white head. Fresh moderately hoppy aroma, fruity, melon, stone fruit, hints of wild herbs and white grapes, also malts. Smooth, juicy, dry. Flavour is fruity, stone fruit, melon, some tropical fruit, some banana. Not too sweet. Light herbal bitterness.

Can, 0.5l. Pitch black pour, three finger creamy brown head, long lasting, sticky lacing on the glass. Nice on the nose, sweet and malty with dried fruits in the background.

Full body, soft carbonation. Smooth mouthfeel and texture, soft, sticky, oily, chewy. Sweet taste balanced with very mild roasty bitter notes. Aroma of toasted caramel, roasted malt, cocoa, dark chocolate. Bready notes, coffee. Dried fruits, figs, licorice. Alcohol slowly building in the background, nicely warming. Long lasting finish, dry, boozy, bittersweet. Lingering fruity notes.

Can, 0.5l. Hazy orange pour, three finger frothy white head, long lasting, excellent retention, lots of lacing on the glass. Nice on the nose, juicy, ripe tropical fruits, pine, grassy notes in the background.

Medium to full body, soft carbonation. Smooth mouthfeel and texture, soft, chewy, creamy. Nicely balanced bittersweet taste. Juicy aroma, ripe tropical fruits, pineapple, citrus, peach. Caramel candy notes in the background, slightly sticky. Pine, grassy and herbal notes. Noticeable alcohol presence, warming, dry, slight burn. Long lasting finish, quite dry, juicy, long lasting bitterness and mild alcohol warmth.

Quite tasty.

Can, 0.5l. Murky, muddy dark brown pour, thin soapy beige head, short lasting. Broken lacing on the glass. Nice on the nose, fruity citrus notes, roasted malt, pine.

Medium body, medium to high carbonation, fizzy. Average mouthfeel and texture, lightweight, some chewiness to it, prickly. Perhaps slightly too fizzy. Balanced roasty bittersweet taste. Aroma of roasted malt, wood, ash. Citrus fruits, pine, herbal and grassy notes.Nutty, minerals, some boozy notes. Slight hop burn. Long lasting finish, quite dry, bitter, slightly harsh. Mild stickiness.

A bit rough around the edges but quite solid nonetheless.

0.5 l can shared with Zoki and Deca, thanks. Hazy yellow, small off-white head. Aroma is moderately hoppy, pineapple, slightly tropical. Hints of black pepper and herbs. Smooth, but thin. Flavour is tropical fruit, some banana, coconut. Finishes moderate sweet.

0.5l can from Pomalo ZG, shared in Plzeň with the crew. Hazy yellow-golden body, off-white head. Citric, somehow lactic aroma, light berry. Smooth taste, citric, resinous, herbal, smooth and sweetish. I see what they went for and it's a pretty good combo, the aroma failed it a little.

Can, 0.5l. Hazy yellow / pale orange pour, huge creamy white head, long lasting, sticky lacing on the glass. Green and fruity on the nose, strong citrus notes, grassy, herbal, light tart.

Light to medium body, medium carbonation, lively. Lightweight mouthfeel and texture, soft, fizzy, refreshing. Sweet and sour taste, light tart, mild bitterness in the aftertaste. Aroma of grassy hops, lemon, lime, grapefruit. Citrus peel, some tropical notes. Mango, pineapple. Minerals, light spice. Medium lasting finish, dry, tart, mild lingering bitterness.

Somewhat green but refreshing nonetheless. Good.

Pours hazy yellow-orange color, with one finger of frothy white head. Tropical fruit, and citrus aroma. Pineapple, mango, citrussy, orange, lime and light herbal flavor. Medium body, piney finish.

Canned 500ml. -from Ambasada Zagreb. Murky yellow coloured, medium sized white head, citrusy and light oaty nose. Citrusy, oaty, light tropical fruits and touch of grapefruit with mild pineapple in the finish. Light juicy also.
