Can. Golden colour, bright, nice carbonation, just a thin head but otherwise attractive. The aroma is less attractive, given the acetalehyde/ester stuff and worty malt note. On the palate, thankfully it's more the worty malt that dominates. Not the best pale malt character but better than off-notes, right. Low bitterness - I certainly think a dose of German hops, or a bigger dose, would help out the balance. Falls into that category of better than any macro, but if this is the best beer in this place, I'm drinking somewhere else.

355ml can found in Summerland if I recall correctly. Poured into a Hard Rock Café Vancouver glass it has excellent foam, weak yellow body, strong carbonation, all good things for a lager. The aroma is yeasty grain, cereal, very slight tin, chewy but also appealing. Flavour is very chewy barley, heavy, but flavourful. Mouthfeel is too cloying to recommend - I was hoping for some lagery smoothness. Still my expectations were lower so I'm pleasantly surprised.

Can, from Alex. Dull bronze. Aroma is appley (acetaldehyde) and grainy. Bland, sweet, candyish. Very bland. I do fear this beer.

Can from Central City Liquor store, Surrey
Dull golden color with almost no head. Stale malt aroma. Soft sweetish mouthfeel; stale malt and corn flavor. Low bitterness. Corn in the end.
Woo!

Pale yellow. Nose had a mix of alcohol and thin apple. Has something of an artificial taste. Apple juice finish.

Tasting at Matt’s, can
Pale blond color. Aroma of fresh green apples. Smooth, correct balance of acidity and sweetness, light lemon and apple flavor. Timid but not bad.

650ml bottle from Great Bear, tasted at Matt’s. Aroma is acidic, dry, with apple juice notes. Taste is dry, apple juice, crispy, overcarbonated. Meh.

650mL bottle, pours a clear yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings to mind the apple juice I had as a kid, with medium sweet apples. Flavour is identical, with apple juice, low-medium sweetness, with a dry, juicy finish. Not overly complex, but clean and easy-drinking. Decent.
