Very dark brown in colour, and very sweet in the smell. The smell gives you no idea on the taste however. One quick sip will blow you away. The taste is completely nutty and strong. I think this tastes more nutty than a spoonful of peanut butter! I don't necessarily like a 'nutty' taste in a beer, but the beer definately gives you what the label says, so thats why my rating is so high. A good beer as the label implies, however I don't think it is a great beer for everyone! If you want a nutty taste, definately try this!

Nice orange tint to the golden colour, sour fruity smell. Good pale ale taste with some distinctive fruity notes. Some hops go towards the aftertaste, but an all-arond decent beer!

Hazy orange colour, citrusey-insanely hoppy smell. Fairly thin body and taste...the hops hit initially, but fade in time. For all of you hop-heads like myself, this beer is a must-try...and is a good alternative to 'Tuppers Hop Pocket Ale' which can really only be found in Virginia!

Got this in a Growler at MacGreggors in Rochester. Ron, try it there, though Im surprised you didnt like it from 'beers of the world' they usually keep their beers fairly fresh and put the ones that are getting old on special. I love this beer in a growler. Fresh apricot taste with a medium bodied wheat beer. quite simple for what it is.

The first time I had this, was in Geneva fresh on tap at a Hot Tuna Concert, if i had to rate it on that, it would come close to perfect. I turned to the bottles for a similar experience, but it was lacking. Unbalanced acidity and caramel malt with too high a carbonation ruined it for me. Just stick to it on tap.

Light copper; Aroma: Unfolding hops & fresh, bready malt; Palate: very fresh-tasting floral hoppiness. Not overwhelmingly bitter at all, just great hop flavours well balanced by fresh malt.
