Description
Our Master Brewer, Ken Arrowsmith utilises a step-wise infusion process for extra flexibility to create a variety of beer styles, including five thirst-quenching core brews: Beerland Lager, Beerland Pale Ale, Beerland IPA, Beerland Wheat & Beerland Kolsch only available over the bar – straight from tank to tap and now to tin with the release of our 946mL CANIMALS.

We also stock a range of local & international beers, ciders, wines and spirits – perfect accompaniments to our beer fries, burgers, pizzas, chicken wings and hearty steaks from long-time friends, Torres Butchers.

With our modern vibe and award-winning design, we can host functions of all sizes – catering to smaller groups or large gatherings of up to 500 guests. Honestly, we love to put the ‘fun’ in functions.

NBC is open daily, seven days from 11AM. Fridays & Saturdays open until 2AM.

Pint on tap at brewery. Aroma of distant malt biscuits and a little lemon. Crystal clear golden amber beer with thin white head. High, fine carbonation. Laces well. Taste is stale malt. Finish is mildly hoppy with vegetal notes. Drinkable, looks good. Taste....not so good.

Pint on tap at brewery. Crystal clear amber beer with thin foamy white head. High carbonation. Good lacing. Nose of distant hops. Nice easy drinking lager with a metallic grainy finish. More of a Pils really. Nice.

Pint at brewery. Clear pale amber beer with thin white head. Medium carbonation. Laces well. No real aroma. Initial malt taste is followed by dry graininess. A bit sour late on but easy-drinking and true to style.

Pint on tap at the brewery. Clear pale amber beer with thin white head. Slight nose of sour grain. Sweet malt with bubblegum finish. OK quaffer but not really a hefeweizen, more a kristallweizen. Banana and clove a little more prominent as it warms.
