Surprisingly (and thankfully) I did not get drunk at the Bierfest, so I'm at Cologne's preeminent craft beer joint. Brian E. Wish you were here!

0.33 l bottle, courtesy of Timo, huge thanks. Unclear brown, small head. Aroma is harsh yeasty, bretty, acidic. Underneath nutty and toasty. Flavour is quite sour for a Brett beer, nutty, caramely and dried fruit. Light to medium body. Moderate carbonation, light tart finish.

Modern here, a little worse than classics, especially while in Germany. But still very good. Coeln craft beer corner
