Dark brown. Sugary nose, hinting at molasses and brown sugar. Very sweet palate, with a hollowed-out graininess. Caramelly, a little watery in the finish.

Bottle. Big, frothy head that diminishes. Dark yellow body. Looks inviting, but that’s where inviting ends. The aroma is mostly malty, grainy, with a trace of hops. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. Tastes of canned sweet corn. Medium body with a slightly sticky finish. Moderate to fizzy carbonation.

Light brown/dark amber bottle. Aroma is grassy with weak hops. Yellowish pour, with a small white foamy head that all but disappears. Flavor is weak malts with a heavy influence of grass. Nearly indistinguishable from any other pale lager.

Can, shared by Gr0ve. Pours a clear ruby body with an off-white head. Not too pleasant aroma, quite weak too, with cooked vegetables and caramel. The same goes for the flavor, but there’s some hoppy bitterness too. Thin, sugary body. Quite a contradiction maybe, but that was how it felt. A really boring, and not too good, beer. (080216)
