33 cL can. Pours deep brown with a huge chocolate brown head. Slight earthy aroma, some notes of roasted malt. Flavour is slight breadish to caramel malty, but not really sweet. Some bitterness breaks the malt flavours before the finish. Sadly the finish holds a cardboardish note which breaks the otherwise nice flavour experience.

33 cL bottle as Especial Premium Lager. Clean grassy aroma with a hint of hop spice. Brassy gold color with a rapidly flattening white head. Thin bodied, a bit fizzy. Starts with malt, backed by grassy hop. Well balanced, clean. Mild bitter in the finish.

Clear light brown colour, white head. Aroma of malt and some fruits. Flavors: caramel, malt, fruits. Bitter. Leaves a sour aftertaste.

Molasses and grain aroma. Golden color, medium head, good lacing. Generic grain flavor. Finish is more bitter, with molasses undertones. It’s also somewhat soapy.

Canned (tnx to voota & Jenny & parents). Golden colour and small white bubbly head. Sweet malts along with some hops. Flavour is clean hops and ome malts. Very clean, very dry and quite nice overall.

bottle - Pours clear gold with a medium sized, fluffy white head. It has very little aroma at all. The flavor is of sweet corn and malt like so many other pale lagers and as expected, it’s on the thin side. Still, it’s at least crisp and refreshing. I’ve had worse.

This is pretty much a higher class malt liquor. It tastes better, than something like Colt 45, but alas, that doesn’t make it good. It looks fine with a colour darker than a pale lager. Smells kind of interesting and has a sort of thick sweet smell going for it. Some alcohol taste, but most of that is masked by the hops and sweetness. Some bitterness atop of all of that as well.

Smells a bit like tar. Pours cloudy and dark brown with no head. Roasted malt taste, a little smoky. Dark fruits on the palate.

I will be able to choke down the rest of the six-pack but this is definitely a case of curiosity gone awry. Tasted smoky and almost unnoticeably sweet. Very watery. Originally rated on Ratebeer 5/25/07. First ever RateBeer review.

Bottle. Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Light hoppy light perfumed aroma. Moderate bitter flavor. Average moderate bitter finish. Oily palate but too fizzy.
