I have had this many times but most recentlu at the brewery; not sure how I have not rated it before. In any event, it has a floral hop aroma with some Belgian yeast but this is not like a Belgian ipa. Sweet malt and sugar with some hops as well. This is hard to shoehorn into a style but Belgian strong will do given the yeast. Lasting floral aftertaste on the palate.

I generally like Harriet beers, even if I am not always blown away. They did a good job with this sahti. Woody aroma with cedar. Surprisingly, lightly sour. There is a prominent earthy quality. Good, and I appreciate the attempt at a rare style.

Sampled at Beer Dabbler. Decent Oktoberfest. Bready, yeasty aroma and flavor, with a dry finish. Interesting to call it a bock when it doesn’t seem to be a bock at all.

Tap at Lyndale Tap House. This is a good dunkelweiss. Appropriately roasted malt. Aroma includes bubblegum and sweet wheat. One of the better domestic examples I have had anywhere.

Firkin Fest 2013. Light aroma of berry and malt. Flavor has brown sugar and fruit, lightly sour and dry oak finish. Good palate. Full flavor. It is a close call between Belgian ale or fruit beer.

From tap at Republic. Pours hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is dry roasted malty and light phenolic. Bitter and light herbal. Fruity and medium dry to bitter. Ends dry and light herbal phenolic.

Winterfest 2013.Good palate. Dry malt with floral hops and a flavor of white wine, but it is dry from the chardonnay barrel, and Divine Oculust is already a dry beer to begin with . Good beer.

At the brewery, Halloween night, 2012. About as good as the orange, not as good as the tangerine. Citrus hop character and a good citrus aroma. All three of these beers are solid.

At the brewery, Halloween night, 2012. Much like the regular west side. Mildly bitter hops but lots of citrus flavor. I can pick out the orange in the aroma. Not as good as the tangerine, but a good infusion.

The best of the three fruit flavored West Side beers. Look like the original with good carbonation. Aroma has a big citrus/tangerine aroma, with more hops and citrus in the flavor. A good infusion. At the brewery, Halloween night, 2012.
