Draught at the tap room, Halloween Night 2012. Dark brown, muddy appearance. Light coffee aroma with malt. Flavor is lightly sweet and balanced by mild coffee, the coffee compliments rather than dominates the flavor or aroma. Some sweetness with fig.

Halloween night, 2012. At the brewery. Brown color. There is a lot lot of spice in here, particularly clove and cinnamon. Some malt and dried fruit. Lightly sweet. My only complaint is it seems a little thin on the palate.

Tap @ Harriet. Pours a bit hazy, golden yellow appearance with a white head. Fairly spicy, floral, somewhat soapy, light lemon aroma. Somewhat bitter, zesty yeasty, lemon, soapy flavor. Decent drinking but a bit disappointing.

Tap @ Harriet. Pours a pale yellow, clear appearance with a white head. Pretty dull, a bit soapy, straw, grassy aroma. Dull herbal, soapy/floral, grainy flavor. Probably my least favorite that I’ve had from these guys.

Tap @ Harriet. Pours a hazy, light yellow appearance with a white head. Somewhat spicy, dull yeasty, bready, a bit fruity aroma. The flavor lets on to a more Belgian Witbier-like beer with notes of spicy yeast, orange citrus, and lemon. Ok but a bit soapy.

On tap at the Harriet One Year Anniversary event. Good coffee aroma and flavor. The doppelbock sweetness is still there, as well as some fruit. One of the better coffee beers around, a great blend of flavors.

On tap at the Harriet One Year Anniversary event last winter. A sweet beer. It has a great vinous flavor. Belgian yeast aroma, along with oak and vanilla. I like the standard Dark Abbey, and the wine adds something extra.

Gold color and hazy. Good, herbal hop aroma. Dry hop flavor. Some lightly sweet malt but the hops are the dominant characteristic.

On tap at SPSBF. Pours a clear amber gold with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has a nice combination of citrus and grapefruit backed by a light grain note. Flavor again has grapefruit and citrus up front with a bit of bitterness and light sweet grains in the finish.
