Description
Brutal brewing was established in 2011. It is an initiative of employees of one of Sweden’s leading breweries – Spendrups. Brutal Brewing is controlled and operated by employees of Spendrups on a “free time” basis.
We all have regular day jobs in the brewery. Our committed group consists of clerks and brewers that share the same core belief. Our simple mission is to create great brews and have fun.
That pretty much sums it up. Hopefully, this means that we can share some fun times with you.

(Canned) Golden yellow colour with frothy, white head. Malty nose with bread, tropical fruit and hints of throat lozenges with honey and lemon flavour. Malty, slightly fruity taste with notes of bread, honey, citrus and hints of fresh, citrussy hops in a fairly short finish. Light body, with a touch of sweetness. This one is better than the first Pistonhead (and they managed to squeeze in a hint of hops as well). Decent refreshing lager.

Slightly hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma of caramel, grain, hay and with a hint of fruit. Sweet malty flavour with diacetyl, and some dusty notes. Nice bitter finish, but not the most refreshing summer beer

(Bottle) Deep golden colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty, slightly fruity nose with notes of toasty malt, apples, toffee, honey and citrus peel. Malty taste with brown bread, ryvita, toffee and citrus. Medium body, starts with some honey sweetness, but turns drier towards the end. A slightly sharp but short bitterness in the finish. According to the label there’s Cascade, Amarillo, Saaz and Magnum hops here. Nice that Spendrups learned the names of some hop varieties, just a pity they’re more present on the label than in the actual brew. Still a decent lager.

Can. Pours with a nice white pillowy head and a new one can arise through some wirling. Mainly a soapy aroma acompanied with some metal and hops. Sweet malty taste with some oranges and citrusy hops. Actualy this is rather deacent for a canned beer from Sweden!

Can. Metallic and medicinal notes in the aroma aswell as the taste. Some hops are added to hide the sadness of this brew, but that only makes it worse. Pathetic!
