Fles gedeeld door Roelzie. Het is een helder goudgeel bier met een volle witte schuimkraag. Het heeft een aroma van mout en hop. De smaak is moutig en zacht zoet.

On tap at Grumpy’s. Pours a clear light yellow gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma is straw forward with notes of grass and hay coming through. Flavor has much more grass and hay with straw growing through the finish.

50cl Blik van Getränke Hoffmann. Diepgouden kleur, witte kraag. Ruikt nog wel redelijk, honingzoet, grassig, maar ook al een vleugje zwerverspils, smaak is scherpe alcohol, licht bloemig, honing, granig, fors bitter zoals we van Jever gewend zijn. Lichte tot medium body. Gewoon een Strong Lager, heeft afgezien daarvan weinig met Heller Bock te maken.

Can 50 cl. Pours a clear, deep golden with a lacing, white head. Intense aroma of mostly brewing cereal, some malt and sulphur. Solid, malty body, rather sweet brewing syrup with some finishing bitterness. A typical Strong Lager and not a Bock. 200326

Can shared, golden orange beer, small head. Aroma is sweet, malt. Taste is sweet, malt, caramel, bitter, alcohol. Not bad.

I appreciate this pils, there is a side bitter, hop and herbal side, yellow body, average carbonation, refreshing but bitter, dry at the palate.
