330ml bottle. Clear, yellow-ish, pale golden colou rwith average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Muggy, grainy, strawy, malty aroma, grassy hoppy overtones. Taste is bitter, grassy hoppy, minimally strawy pale malty; lingering, bitter, minimally chalky, hoppy finish. Watery texture, smooth and soft palate, soft to flat carbonation. Quite bitter hoppy, overall rather expressionless.

Jever Light, Flasche. - Goldgelb, blank; pilstypischer Schaum. - In der Nase die vom Jever Pilsener bekannte, etwas schroffe Herbe mit schwefeligen Zügen, aber auch die schwach muffige Süße und Bierwürze, das typische Merkmal alkoholreduzierter Biere. - Antrunk schlank und dünn mit Resten heller Malzigkeit, blasser Süße und der trockenen, derb zitronenschaligen Hopfenherbe des richtigen Jevers, die aber im wäßrig-dünnen Körpers sozusagen im Leeren schwebt. Kurzer Abgang mit knackiger Zitronenherbe. - Trotz dünnen Malzkörpers ein ordentlich gehopftes, erfrischendes Schankbier ohne krasse Fehlaromen, deutlich besser als so manches reguläre Bier (z.B. die Krombacher-Plörre). Mit einem guten Vollbier läßt es sich natürlich nicht vergleichen. (27.6.2020.)

Frothy head, disappearing slowly. Worty aroma. Thin, but fairly hoppy, especially for a light lager. Sweetish and slightly malty. Cabbage flavor. Slightly bitter finish.
