Cask at the Wellington, Birmingham. Pours a hazy amber with a small head. Aroma is pine, resin and orange squash. Taste is marmalade to start and a pine, medium bitter finish. Some alcohol on the aftertaste. Sticky mouthfeel.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Copper colour, off-white head. Nose is malty, candy sugar, spicy. Flavour is sweet malted, candy sugar, caramel, spices, a bit fruity, oranges. Quite malty, a bit boozy. Has more of a barley wine than an IPA. Sweet, slighty sticky finish. Good stuff.

Bottled @ cgarvieuk’s Need some Cupboard Space tasting. Brown colour, light brown head. Nose is caramel malts, candy sugar, port, bit boozy. Flavour is caramel, candy sugar, slightly alcoholic. Sweet caramelly finish. Really pleasant.

Bottled @ cgarvieuk’s Need some Cupboard Space tasting. Hazy golden colour, large foamy off-white head. Nose is dusty, vegetables, vinegar, barnyard. Flavour is hoppy, pine, sourness, bit of vinegar. Highly carbonated.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Amber colour, thin off-white head. Nose is bready, caramel, bit of marzipan. Flavour is sweet malty, peaches, medium bodied, a bit of alcohol. Fairly sweet and fruity finish.

Cask at GBBF 2011, Day 2. Pours clear, dark gold with a bubbly head. Tangy citrus nose. Nice flavor, mild straw and toast, faint wood. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Nice hop finish, faint grass and wood, mild citrus. Very pleasant beer.
