Description
Half Barrel Beer Project is a concept brought to life over beers and brewing. We are a craft beer bar, self- serve bottle shop, and brewpub. The name Half Barrel represents our half barrel system (a pilot system) that will allow us to constantly change our beer line up by making them in small batches, and come up with some innovative recipes. In addition, Half Barrel encourages local home brewers and the community to brew with us and voice what you want to drink. At project taproom, we offer a unique combination of carefully selected craft beers from across Florida and the Country, as well as local wine from Orlando’s own Quantum Leap Winery.

Tap at brewery. Nice dark brown pour smallish head. Nose is coconut and brown sugar. Tastes of molassses, light coconut, chocolate, nutty and hints of vanillla and coriander. Smooth easy drinking. Adjuncts subdued.

Draft at brewery. Cloudy yellow orange foamy white head. Nose is wheat and orange peel and honey. Tastes mostly of honey, some citrus, wheat and oats, golden raisins. Medium bodied. Refreshing.

On tap. White head and cloudy pale yellow/yellow. A-crisp peach/citrus. T-fruity-peach/strawberry, some sweetness and a slight bite. Peach came out as it warmed.

Tap at brewery, happy they are finally putting out there own. Nice dark pour small head. Nose is faint chocolate, root beer. Tastes of same plus earth, herbal and quite bitter. Slick palate. Ok
