Bottle shared in London - picked up via trade. Pours deep black-brown with a creamy, tan head. The nose has plum, burnt toast, earth, ripe berries. Light sweet flavor with a little rubber, molasses, burnt grains, grape, plum, cocoa. Medium bodied, lightly oily, with fine carbonation. Finishes with touches of roast, light cocoa, tangy berries, earth. Great stuff. Good depth.

Bottle from PhillyCraft. Thanks Vin! It pours a light orange color, hazy with a very fizzy head that disappears completely within a few seconds. The aroma is nice with lots of grapefruit tang, orange, tangerines, mild funk and hints of spicy barrel in the background. The flavor is soft and funky with big orange and grapefruit fruitiness. Spicy yeast in the finish with noticeable wood and funk. Tart, but not too sour. The mouthfeel is light, but certainly substantial enough to be supportive. Perfect carbonation despite the zero head retention. Overall, a fruity, tart, funky, spicy, barreled Saison with an emphasis on the orangy hops. Another good one.
