A small can from Brewerkz Riverside Point, Singapore, drunk at home here in Taipei. Aroma: bread, freshly mown grass, very inviting. Appearance: clear copper, very handsome; big frothy off-white head, dissipating rapidly. Palate: light-bodied and slick, average carbonation; a rather tart finish, not unpleasant. Taste: medium-sweet, Parma violets, biscuit. Very sessionable, must be great draught.

Singapore holiday - day 6/13, at Brewerkz Riverside Point, a pint draught. Aroma: fresh fruit salad, grapes, very inviting. Appearance: semi-opaque bronze, residual tan lacing. Palate: medium-bodied and tart, average carbonation; astringency comes to the fore at the finish. Taste: lightly sweet with bitter notes, well-balanced, some iron. Aroma trumps flavour, drinkable nonetheless.

Draft at Brewerkz, Orchard. Poured a clear copper colour with a bubbly white head and a few bubbles. The aroma is malt, light red berry fruits. The flavour is light sweet, with a smooth, light watery, light jammy, herbal palate. Medium to light bodied with soft carbonation. This was the most expensive beer here at Sing $24++ for a small glass and if I’m completely honest it’s awful. The brewer needs a kick up the backside for allowing this out of the door. Barnyard funk they say? What they served to me was just unpleasant herbal sugar water.

Draft at Brewerkz, Orchard. Poured a crystal clear yellow golden colour with a round frothy white head. The aroma is light honey and floral hops. The flavour is moderate sweet, light bitter, with a smooth, light, watery, yeasty, herbal, sweet honey, light hop bitter palate. Nothing special really. I’d love to have had a little carbonation to spice things up a little, but Brewerkz don’t do bubbles.
