On tap at the brewery as part of a six-beer sampler. This pours a very dark brown with a tan head. Aroma has quite a lot of roast coffee. Flavor again strikes the strong roast coffee note, with the roast becoming somewhat smokey, cocoa hints also there. Definitely a coffee beer, and really nice.

On tap at the brewery as part of a six-beer sampler. The waitress said this was essentially a "black pilsner." I don’t know about that, but it wasn’t bad. This pours a dark brown with a light tan head. Rather nice nutty, roasty aroma. Lots of roasty coffee and nutty flavor, earthiness, with spots of anise. Clean palate. I was pleased with this one and ended up ordering it to go with my meal.

On tap at the brewery as part of a six-beer sampler. Pours a dark amber with a white head. Very light aroma, giving hints of toffee and dark fruit. Flavor is similarly light with toffee, molasses, and dark fruit. Starts to pick up as I finish the sampler glass, but the flavors are just rather weak.

On tap at the brewery as part of a six-beer sampler. An amber beer with a white head. Has a sweet aroma with caramel and berry notes. Flavor again sweet berry, honey, caramel, biscuit. In the end, it’s okay, but that’s all.

On tap at the brewery as part of a six-beer sampler. This pours a clear gold amber with a white head. Aroma is quite nice with lots of citrus. Flavor is less bold, with citrus, pine, grassy hops, biscuit, and a moderate bitterness. A little bit of a disappointment.
