Bottle split at Catraio, Porto, 28/10/22. Almost clear golden orange with little in the way of a head. Nose is herb, lemon, grass, tangy citric notes. Taste comprises lemon rind, hedgerow, slat kiss, grass, damp cloth, balsa wood. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light puckering rasp. Not bad.

Lisbon backlog! On keg at the Museu De Cerveza. Appearance - cloudy golden amber. Decent white head. Nose - caramel and orange, light pine. Taste - orange, melon and caramel, with orange zest at the back. Palate - light bodied, creamy middle and zesty finish. Overall - yep, on style!

Keg at the Colossus taproom, Porto, 28/10/22. Clear golden with a moderately appointed white cap that thins to nyadda. Nose is herb, grains, straw, lemon jelly. Taste comprises tangy citric zest, soft malts, vanilla, grains. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Sub par ... sweet, flabby and not like any Hefe I've had before!

Keg (could have been a bottle by this stage of the evening ... notes fail me!) at Catraio Craft Beer Shop, Porto, 27/10/22. Moderately hazed golden to light amber with an off white cap that escapes to the edge. Nose is coffee grinds, airy malts, caramel, faint fruit esters. Taste comprises biscuit, coffee grinds, hint of white chocolate, caramel, light spice. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Tidy for this genre of beer ... can usually file them under 'a bit shit' but this didn't run sweet and carried off a good coffee profile.

Draught, from a sample tray at Armazem da Cerveja. Upper part lacing from a patchy white surface, misty golden body. Promising ripe citrus nose. Decent malt-fruity blend of pineapple, orange peels and slightly sweet malts. Rounded bittersweet tail. Nice. (Porto, 11.09.2023).
