Hazy orange amber beer with thick amberish head. Soapy, fruity nose with a lot of cloves. Citrussy, lemony flavours superimposed on a typical wheat flavour & bubble gum notes. Medium bodied, wheat slickness. Very decent for a Leichtes WB.

Draught Mossy-brownish beer with orange highlights under a smaller dark-cream head. Banana and very meaty, nearly cured-meat aroma’s. Still pretty fruity, however; Fruity taste, but less outspoken than the Helles; more meatesters, and more outspoken nutmeg notes, even a bit leafy. Well-filled (yeast) rather than well-bodied. Good, if not outstanding Dunkles Weizen.

Draught Good dense, whipped-cream head over fully hazy yellow-orange beer. Banana and citrusfruit, fruitsalad, fresh yeast notes. Again very fruity tastewise, as well as yeasty, estery, bananamash, citruspulp and very slight meaty esters, rounded off with a point of nutmeg. Very thick MF, wheat slickness. Leaves a slight sourish-fruity aftertaste. Very good, young Weissbier from a lovely brewery.

Forced draught at the GBBF 2008. Murky brown opaque colour, big head. Very nice aroma of malts, lemons, banana and cloves. Same elements in the flavour, this is the most lemony dunkelweizen I’ve had. Good stuff.
