Straightforward Mexican lager, leaps and bounds better than Corona, but that’s a low bar to hurdle. Mild toasted corn sweetness backed up berry and a touch of citrus, and a gentle floral bitterness on the back end. Eh.

Another hazy, full of tropical and citrus notes and a growing astringency on the back end. Slight vegetal funkiness and pine in the finish. Would be better if drinking it wasn’t painful.

At source: pours brown with no head. Aroma is vanilla, wood, whiskey, rum. Very complex. Smooth taste. Minimal booziess. Nice pastry vanilla aftertaste. Excellent. Worth every penny.
