0.33 l bottle from 'Mr. Hop', best before September 2022. Haz,very dark brown with a thin, frothy, almost stable, off-white head. Sweetish-malty, slightly roasty aroma of caramel, chocolate and nuts. Slightly sweet, malty, moderately bitter, a bit roasty taste of caramel, chocolate, nuts and some licorice, followed by a short, gently bitter, slightly roasty finish. Thin to medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Solid.

330ml bottle. Cloudy, chestnut colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, dark beieg head. Nutty, dark malty and yeasty spicy aroma, notes of hazelnut, Brazil nut, a touch of treacle, whiffs of toffee, coffee, liquorice. Taste is dry, nutty malty, minimally yeasty fruity and yeasty spicy, subtle residual sweetness, bitter grassy, minimally papery hoppy, hints of hazelnut, Brazil nut, toasted nuts, a very cautious touch of plum; lingering, bitter, grassy, almost tart-ish, hoppy finish with a touch of sorrel. Watery texture, dry palate, fine, prickly carbonation. Very nice malty nose, unpleasant bitterness in taste - OK.
