Gylden brun klar med to fingre høyt tykt beige skum. Godt med humlelukt men også noe malt. Fersken, ananas og noe fudge. Fruktig bitter smak. Moden sydhavsfrukt, med medium lang bitter avsluttning.

Bottle from Systembolaget Drottninggatan. Clear amber with a small head. Aroma and taste of caramel, dried fruit, hops, light grapefruit and some passionfruit. An ok one althought a bit on the "old side".

Bottle from Tanakaya. Pours a clear deep gold to orange with a small off-white head. Wonderful tropical fruit nose with mango, passion fruit, papaya and pineapple. Keg at Piccadilly Tap; hazy orange pour with a foamy white head, aroma has some decent tropical hop action along with citrus and grapefruit, taste has tangerine, mango, some pine a hint of caramel, very good.

Keg at IMBC 2015; clear amber pour with a big frothy off white head, big tropical hop aroma with a hint of spice, taste classic sauvin hop action along with some zesty citrus, bitter finish.

Flasche (65 cl) von Jenny Lou’s, Peking, abgefüllt 12/13, mithin knapp zwei Jahre alt. - Orangegelb, nur wenig trüb, kaum Schaum. - In der Nase fruchtig-süße Orange, unreife Banane, Lebkuchen, Minze. - Antrunk breit getreidig und karamelmalzig-süß mit einer deutlichen säuerlich-herben Note, die an Rhabarber oder unreife Banane erinnert, jedenfalls in einem Tripel deplaziert wirkt. Mild rezent, hefig, vollmundig. Im Abgang krautig herb, schwach säuerlich, mit kühlender Minze, dazu leicht fuselig. - Eigenartige Version eines belgischen Tripels. Es fehlt die aromatische getreidige Süße, aber auch die schwere Hopfenherbe der besten Tripelbiere, und die Hopfen- und Esteraromen sind untypisch und wenig stimmig. Gewöhnungsbedürftig.

From a 330ml bottle on 10/10/2015. Pours a clear dark golden with a small head. The nose features some fruity hops with some metalic notes. Flavour wise, there’s carmel malt, some citrus fruit, and a pretty firm spicy bitterness, again with a slight metallic taste. The texture is thin and the carbonation average. A bit too disjointed to really impress, but still packed with flavour for a little beer.

Bottle. Fuggle & Golding, Ilkley. Clear gold. Film of bright, white head. Sweet, fruity, bready malts. Banana esters. Hint of grated lemon rind. Taste is bready sweet. Turns fairly bitter. Palate feels a bit chewy and overly thick. A bit claggy. Finishes with those sweet esters, and a lemony, pithy bitter close. Ok.

Bottled@omhper. Amber colour, small off-white head. Aroma is fruity, floral, wooden, some mild marzipan and herbs as well. Flavour is fruity, floral, herbal and some sweet malty and grainy notes which end in a nice herbal take.
