500ml bottle. Minimally milky, orange, golden colour with small to average, thick, firm, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Sweet-ish, biscuity, pale malty and citrusy fruity, slightly piney, hoppy aroma, notes of tangerine, grapefruit, some pineapple, resinous overtones. Taste is crisp, bitter, citrusy fruity and piney hoppy, slightly biscuity, pale and slightly caramel malty basis with low residual sweetness and a touch of salty cracker, notes of grapefruit, lemon, some pineapple, tangerine; additionally a minimally mineral touch in the finish. Oily texture, dry palate, medium to fine, dense, mildly prickly carbonation. Well crafted, well balanced, very clean, crisp - could have been paradigmatic/prototypical if already brewed in, let's say, the early 80ies; perfect clone today.

Taste is roasty, dark malty, mildly smoky, minimally fruity, slightly spicy, low, subtle residual (fruity) sweetness, notes of dark chocolate with a minimally ashy touch, hints of smoked plum, a touch of chipotle; a very weak, mineral-bitter and papery interference here and there. Can split with the Wingmane, Wroclaw station tasting, 22/07/22. Black with a good sized lasting khaki head. Nose is pine needle, light roast, charr, bitter tropical fruit esters. Taste comprises brown bread, pine needle, charr, cocoa dusting, red berry skins, bitter tropicana. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close doused with balanced earthy hop bitterness. Solid CDA.

Can at BBT 7/2022. Medium body, rather low carbonation. Med-high sweetness, quite sweet, med-light bitterness. Slightly soapy. Lack of deep roast, does not feel like stout. The roast is rather pale, with toffee and milk chocolate. I would think lactose was used, but none was found in the list of ingredients. Neither were cherries. But neither do I taste them. Very weird. Lots of sediment in my glass. Not great, not terrible.
