440ml can as part of a delivery from the brewery and drunk at home. Light orange/amber brown, the colour of incredibly strong iced tea. Malty notes, light orange peel, some forest floor and maybe a touch of caramel. Taste is a lot more intriguing: bittersweet, with tangy bittering hops clinging to the tongue throughout the sip. Hints of tangerine. Light body, carbonation on the heavy side but never heavy-handed. A very autumnal pale, so perfect for the first day of my favourite season. I wish there was a little more to it, but it’s perfectly enjoyable for what it is.

440ml can bought as part of a delivery from the brewery. Very, very light gold, almost white gold. Clear. Aroma is at first barely detectable, then fleeting hints of gooseberry. Tastes moderately sweet, some lime zest in the first instance. End of the sip has an altogether different character with an almost drying finish. Thin body with heavy carbonation. Wasn’t fussed one way or the other at first but the longer I drink it the more the very subtle subtleties attract me. It’s actually an amazing pilsner.

440ml can as part of a delivery from the brewery. Drunk at home. Light reddish brown and clear with a small and quickly dissipating off-white/beige head. Spicy, tannic aroma with big bready notes threaded through. Taste is fairly bitter with the spicy malty notes doing little to appease the bitter hop. Astringent finish. Thin body, medium carbonation. While I could take or leave this one on merit, it’s nice to try different takes on the IPA.

440ml Canada part of a delivery from the brewery and drunk at home. Light yellow, hazy with an uneven film of white head. Light yeasty aroma, a little bit of citrus and a good dollop of ground coriander. Sweet taste, quite a bit more spice, with a surprising little bitterness in the finish. Some orange peel in the aftertaste. Pretty good.

440ml can as part of a delivery from the brewery and drunk at home. Pours a deep orange colour, murky with no head. Looks a lot like mango juice… Tiny aroma which has a vaguely mangoey character. Bittersweet taste with more mango and a fair pinch of salt. Mango and persimmon notes in the back of the mouth for the gentle finish. Carbonation on the heavy side. A very muted Beer but that’s not always a bad thing.

440ml can bought as part of a delivery from the brewery and drunk at home. Very light yellow, almost straw, hazy with a large but quickly dissipating white head. Light white grape and gooseberry, hay, spicy saison yeast. Gentle bittersweet taste, a little citrus, nicely dry in the short finish. Very well-attenuated. Light body, fairly heavily carbonated. Just gorgeous.
