Description
WHAT DO WE THINK MAKES THE BEST BEER?
There's no single thing that produces great beer. We believe the combination of many factors results in a perfect pint.
No cutting corners. No shortcuts. No substitutions. Fresh hops. Top quality malts. Years of expertise. A meticulous attitude towards the brewing process.

Tap at Cherry Reds, Birmingham. Poured a hazy golden orange colour with an everlasting frothy white head. The aroma is rhubarb and custard as one might have anticipated. The flavour is over moderate sweet, with a smooth, crisp, fresh, tart rhubarb, vanilla palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Nicely balanced and not overly sweet.

Tap at Sommar, Solihull. Poured a hazy golden orange colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is malt, vanilla and lactose. The flavour is over moderate sweet, with a smooth, sugary, boiled sweets, banana, vanilla palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. As much as I like a milkshake IPA, this was way too sweet. Could barely manage a half.

Cask at Cherry Reds, Birmingham. Poured a hazy straw colour with a short-lived, bubbly white head. The aroma is grainy malt and stone fruits. The flavour is moderate bitter and sweet, with a smooth, slightly watery, melon, pear, light yeasty palate. Somewhat disappointing. Maybe this beer would be better served keg with a little carbonation. Not all craft beers are great when served as cask ales.
