Draft at Sommar, Waterloo Street, Birmingham. Poured a hazy golden orange colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head and some clingy lace. The aroma is grainy, light herbal. The flavour is moderate to light bitter, with a light, crisp, slightly watery, light earthy, herbal, light hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation.

Can. Hazy orange gold beer, good bubbly pale cream colour head. Airy palate, mildly dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Fluffy but thin pale malts, a thin creamy sweetness. Hops bring some light crisp cooling pine. Abundant blood orange and zesty bitterness. A little Azacca bitter lemon. Light crisp finish. Tasty enough but I always feel that hybrid hoppy and fruit beers are something of a cheat. If you want to deliver fruits in a hoppy beer, then use judicious hop delivery, not fruits!

Keg at Purecraft, Brummy vice Cotts Bimble, 03/08/24. Mango smoothie orange looker with an off white cap that thins to spotting. Nose is mango pulp, lychee, guava, Um Bongo, mixed tropicana. Taste comprises guava, mango, pineapple, soft malts, mandarin, sweet edged. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a little pucker. I'd have classed this more as a sour than a pale but overall it's okay .. good fruit vibes ... revisit ... nah!
