Description
Away Days was launched in 2018 by beer and football fan, Josh Bartlett, with the sole aim of creating football themed beers that through player pun names and eye catching branding, would be appealing to a wider demographic of drinker.
Having watched his beloved Ipswich Town lose on a cold Tuesday night back in 2017, the idea of football beers came to mind, with the first beer name idea being “Boncho” after the 90’s Bulgarian player, Boncho Genchev. The idea of ordering a pint of Boncho was an idea that stuck and thus the quest to launch Away Days began.
Beers in the range are brewed across four different unknown breweries.

Sample courtesy of Grumbo. Cheers! Aroma of caramel, red fruits, berries and malts. Smooth and quite think with the flavour matching the aroma in most part. The beer certainly does the name more than justice.

Sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers! Aroma of coffee, dark fruits, ash, and malts. The roasted malts come through with the berries and hints of plums and toffee. Good body, low carbonation. Enjoyed it.
