22 oz bottle from a friend, thanks Ben! Poured into a Spiegelau tulip, golden orange/amber with 3 fingers of off-white head. Aromas of citrus, floral notes, light caramel, a bit of pine and tropical fruit. Tastes of citrus and tropical fruit, floral notes, light pine. Seems to have held up pretty well.

650ml bottle at home, from trade with RobdertDale. Thank you Bob! Black color with beige head. Roasted malty aroma, chocolate, dark chocolate, cocoa, mocha, licorice. Light sweet and moderate to heavy bitter taste like aroma. Medium oily body with soft carbonation.

Sample at the "Drink Moar Beer!" tasting on 06/12/2015: The beer is a dark brown color with a medium tan head that diminishes steadily to a wispy film. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of roast malt, chocolate and mild hops. Light-bodied with flavors of toasty malt, sweet chocolate and slighty earthy hops. The finish is sweet with a chocolate malt aftertaste. Decent overall.

Draft. Clear golden body with a frothy white head, mostly lasting. Aroma of citrus, toasted grain, orange juice, lemon, grapefruit. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, water/velvety texture, lively carbonation. On the sweet side for an IPA, but so much tastier (to my current preferences) than a resin/pine bomb. Juicy at first, but turning thicker in the finish, like pulpy orange juice.

12 ounce bottle from Whole Foods Charlottesville, 6/2/15. Clear golden, large foamy tan head, good retention. Aroma of floral, earthy hops and a bit of citrus. Caramel malt. The taste is citrus hops, crackery malt, caramel. Medium bodied, moderate lingering bitterness.

Keg at the Thirsty Monk, Asheville, 17/02/15. Clear golden amber with a decent off white covering. Nose is caramel malt, light spice, bitter tropical notes. Taste comprises citric peel, light peach, straw, hint of grapefruit, orange. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. So very so.
